Salad!
I tried it pretty early on and it made me SICK. I have pretty much stayed away from it and focus on lean protein. I wish I could tolerate it better. I could use the fiber!!

According to my post op plan, I was not allowed raw vegetables of any kind until 5-6 months out. I wouldn't pu**** with the raw veg right away because they are usually very fibrous and hard for the stomach to break down. You're still healing, take it easy on your new tummy. I know salad and raw veg sounds really appealing right now but like I said, you're still healing. Give it some time.

Keep dreaming. By the time you finish getting your protein in, there's not a lot of room for anything extra. I didn't have a problem tolerating them, just couldn't find space for them until I was 6 months or more out. Yeah, I ate chicken salad and tuna salad, but if you're talking about a plate of veggies, it just didn't happen.
