First, I am sorry!  Sounds awful and scary. Not knowing -- always the worst. Glad you are feeling more control and peace with it. And thank you so much for putting your story out there. So important to let people know that this is real, serious surgery.

Sending big hugs. I can't wait for this to be over for you!!  ❤️❤️❤️ Peace!

Thank you for sharing this story.  You are an inspiration and a very smart and strong woman.  You will get through this and hopefully everyday you get better and better.  Post some pics when you feel better and show off your self ! I'm sceduled to have my surgery on March 3 and I'm very concerned about complications and side effect. I pray I don't ..but I understand  unfortunately it can happen to any of us   I wish there is something we can do before the surgery to avoid complications ....  Well i hope you feel better very soon.

Thank you Jenny, fortunately there are so few with side effects compared to the success stories and being morbidly obese as I was came with definite side effects.

I do have some 8 week pictures on my profile. I'm trying to enjoy the weight loss even if it comes with a price.

I pray ray all goes well with your surgery and recovery.  God bless, Michelle

I am considering this surgery and have read more "up" stories and appreciate them.  But your honesty and humor are refreshing.  Our pre-op stories sound similar as are our ages.  No one wants to "take one for the team" but in life there are struggles.  Your attitude will save you and inspire others.  Thank you!

Thanks Susie! I don't think reading about complications should scare anyone off but help them be prepared.  I am a success story when it comes to losing the weight...my bodies reaction to the surgery not so much.  It's not all bad ;) It's just a matter of time and I'll be running marathons with the rest of the folks!
