Book "Grain Brain" and my changing perspective on carbs
I eat less than 50 carbs a day. I don't try to recreate meals like pasta without gluten. If I want to put sauce on something I use the potato peeler and make zuchini ribbons. There are tons of Paleo sights that are on Facebook. Nom nom Paleo is a good blog. See who she follows. Against all Grain, Wheat Belly, Paleo Cafe, Whole 30, Well Fed.
When I wanted to lose five pounds last year I did a Whole 30. it was great because it is highly structured. No sugar, fake or real, dairy, grains, alcohol. The book is: It Starts With Food. There is a great forum with blogs. I did a Whole 75 and got my attention focused about how I need to eat this far out from surgery.

Here is a copy of the list DH & I shared at our support group when we filled in for the leader last week. I also shared this on the forum, but pasting it here is faster than you having to search for it. Happy cooking.
