Many Sleeves

I had a conversation with a coworker yesterday who had the sleeve surgery a couple of years ago. He had lost a lot of weight and has gradually put it back on. He had a lot of helpful information, about staying on-plan by journaling everything put in his mouth, exercise, etc. From talking with him, he told me that two other coworkers had gotten sleeved recently. I was worried about getting face-to-face support after I get mine, but I don't have that concern anymore. I can't wait to have mine!

I don't know if you're talking about a support group or a therapist, but I have been seeing a therapist since before my surgery and credit that with my success so far.  I'm moving to another state next week, and will miss my visits with her greatly.  I will have to decide once I get there if I need to find another therapist to go and see.  All the support you can get, the better!

the sleeve is only a tool , maybe as you travel your journey you can help him get back on track and relose the weight , his sleeve should still work fine

the more support you get the better you will do

I was talking about a support with other sleevers, like this forum, but face-to-face. I still have to see a therapist too though. I am not sure if there are any support groups affiliated with my surgeon's program, I will have to check into that. But, like this board, it would be nice to have some meetings with others who have had the surgery too. Maybe the coworkers and I can get together and support one another too.

Thanks :)
