Pics of my TT 5 months (ish) post op

Hi,

I know DocHollywood can't get enough info on the Tummy Tuck at the moment, so I finally broke down and decided to post some pics.  They are on my profile if they don't come through here in the post.

This one is to highlight the scar and the makeover on the belly button.  Note that there appears to be a scar horizontally a little below the belly button and on the right hip- that is just from the waist band of my jeans.  I have super pale skin so EVERYTHING shows!

Sorry this one is upside down, but I am just to lazy to fix it.  (Yea, I know... being a tech teacher you would think I would not be that lazy!)  Anyway, this one is to highlight the extra skin on the back.  My tummy is tight as a drum, but I have a TON of extra skin on the back.  Enough so it folds over underneath me when I sleep.  I imagine that if I went through more PS they would take the same amount off my back as they did the front.  The TT in other words will not fix that.  But- it is not really noticable without spanx because it lays much better than my former extra skin laden belly.

This is a side shot showing how flat my stomach is now- and no, I am not sucking it in.  And yes, this is with me gaining about 5 pounds since surgery and it is very, very noticable.  Without the five pounds I have a much slimmer front view (pic 1).  I tried below to get an angle that shows the slight ridge above my belly button.  This area still swells up to form that ridge.  Nothing terrible, but annoying. This is the area I had a hernia repaired during the TT.  Also, below I tried to get the buldge in the Mons area (just above the VaJayJay).  It is still mildly sore in that area, and I am still numb so I am not sure if there is swelling still or if that is just how it will be. Even like this though, no issues.  I can see it when I wear snug dress slacks, and the mons bulge is what prevents me from wearing a size 10 comfortably.  But again, not a big deal if this is how is just is.

Once upon a time I took a before shot the day of surgery.  If I can locate it, I will upload that so you have a better sense of how far things have come along.  I am not a photographer and not the least bit artisitic, so please be kind with the awful selfies!

Fantastic results!  It looks really, really good

I can appreciate what you say about the back fat.  I think that if and when I can finally afford to do this that I'll have to go with the lower body lift so they can cut all away around and get skin folds on the back side too.

I had an anchor cut- so you do not see all of the scarring in the pics.  The long vertical one is where they went in to tighten up all of the abdominal muscles.  I also have scars wrapping around the hip in the bikini lines- I just am not willing to show that much skin.  That is from getting rid of the pannis and sculpting/tightening the hips area.  I saw a lot of pics of women who do not do the vertical cut- and the results are not nearly as good in my humble opinion.  I am one that could care less about the scars, because I am exceedingly modest in real life and no way would I be sporting a bare middrift.  Only the hubby is privvy, and the scars do not faze him.  I have also had a lot of scars from cancer excisions so I have a very good idea of how the heal... by around the second year I doubt you would see much of anything scar wise if I took the same photos.
