My First 5K

You can do it!!!  I am 63 and walk 5Ks.  My goal is always to finish in less than 1 hour….I'm a pretty steady 20 minute miler  :-0))  

Keep your head up and see where you're going.  Most of all have fun!!  Remember:  You're getting the same swag as the 1st place finisher.

Thanks guys. I am going to keep walking and running my mouth until I cross the finish line.

theladyelsie, I am in Michigan too. Supposed to be 50 degrees and raining. You learn to dress in layers in MI LOL. Last Friday it was 80 degrees and humid, weekend was 50. It's 38 now, only state where it can be 80 and sunny one minute and 40 the next.
