Surgery Approval

I was also wondering how long it usually takes after the 6-month insurance pre-surgery period does it take to find out if the insurance company approves you or not?

Although I have done OK losing during the six months, I would hate to get this far and not get approved! 

most companies try for within 2 weeks , and surgery can be anytime after that, even the next week

Thanks MickeyMantle. I am hoping if I get approved, I can get the surgey in late July or early August. I have 30 PCs, and 60 monitors to deploy that i can't get myhabds on until mid-July, andI know I won't be able to lift rght after the surgery.

It's usually about 2weeks I have blue cross blue shield of Illinois I just called every other day so I knew before they sent the letter out in fact it took them 2weeks to send the approvall letter out to me but the doctor called me the day after I got the news so that didnt hold me up good luck
