Fruit Smoothies?

I don't do fruit smoothies, even in maintenance, because it' s ton of fruit which means it's a ton of carbs and LOTS of sugar.  Since my diabetes is in remission anything with this much natural sugar in it sends my blood sugar through the roof and I feel like crap....and then I crash.

I would have never tried them during WL mode because I wanted to lose as fast as I could so I kept my carbs to below 40 on most days.  A fruit smoothie would blow that number out of the water in one serving.  Frankly, I didn't even eat much fruit during WL mode either.  It's only in maintenance now that I have some, and it's usually only 1 serving a day.  Much more important to get in the veggies for me.

at 6 monthes out I was allowed fruit, BUT only once or maybe twice a day. I eat peaches or strawberries with cottage cheese or yogurt. I don't drink to many smoothies as they don't stay long with me. When I first started I did. Your nut will give you a guide to follow as you progress with the process. Good luck
