Did I ever! Went out with my tri club to do a preview of the race we're doing in 2 weeks. So we swam .5 miles, biked 11 and ran 3.1! I was sick last week and my stomach started fluttering on the run so I walked the last .25 miles. But otherwise it was a good workout.

Hi Keith,

Good to see you again!

I walked 4 miles today, a super very big deal!!  (I had a double mastectomy on April 15th with some complications.)  First walk of that kind of distances and feeling pretty good. Of course, I am out of school though so I am not walking nearly as much overall, but working on it :)

I did 1 hour of Zumba this morning then walked an additional 6,000ish steps.

I just wanted to share with you Keith... I have been trying to run.  I had my first "healthy" race last week.  It was a local 6k to support 6 fallen firefighters... My goal was to run it in less than an hour (I literally run slower than I walk, but I'm working on it).  I finished in 53:12.  My previous best pace was 15:01, but for the race I got my pace down to 14:16!!!  I know I'm not quick my any means, but I was so happy... just had to share with you!!!

Thanks,

Kathy

I'm not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday!
