Vsg and wine

I was told I could have one at my 4 week post op check up. I did have 1 glass of wine at 6 weeks for my Birthday and sipped it over like 2-3 hours. So it did not get me drunk at any point. Now on the other hand, about 2 weeks ago I met up with an old friend and had 3 glasses of wine in about 2 hours, and was pretty buzzed! I would not suggest drinking at all until your Surgeon gives you clearance to do so :) Drinking is not a regular thing for me, and their are so many calories and carbs in alcohol too. When you do drink, make sure you are some where were you are not driving too, as the effects can vary from person to person.
