Hi, Everyone. I was wondering if it is okay to suck on some sugar free lifesavers. If anyone has any idea as to when mints are acceptable please let me know. I am 4 days out and craving something minty instead of my usual jello or ice pops. Please respond! Thank you.

I am 6 days out and I have been wondering the same!!

Why choose to fail, when success is a option?

They are fine, except the sweetener in them might give you terrible gas and diarrhea.  I cannot tolerate them at all.

They didn't work for me either.... :-( I also think the sweetness made me crave more so I walked away!!!

I asked my Nut and Dr the same thing at my last appointments before surgery. Nut said to watch the sweetener because some cause tummy troubles. The doc said Tic Tacs were fine because if they were accidentally swallowed, they wouldn't get stuck and be uncomfortable.
