the next phase and I did it

Hi everyone I am 16 days post-op and I have been on full liquids. Well today marks the next phase I am on creamy foods lord knows I was nervous going into this stage. After being on liquids for so long I had no idea what to expect. I was told to take it slow and chew it well. I can officially say I did it at least the eggs were OK I still have lunch and dinner to get through. I am just happy that I am making progress!

It gets easier and easier as time goes on.  Best of luck!

I can't wait to have eggs! Hopefully I don't have the problem with scrambled eggs that I did with my band. Even after 6 years, scrambled made me sick - I could only do a fried or omelette. Good luck in this stage!

I was told no scrambled eggs for 6 months as they get stuck, so maybe steer clear of them right away, try hard boiled, Poached med hard/hard... I seen a post on here recently where a VSG'er tried the scrambled eggs, and sure enough they were getting stuck, good luck!!
