Hi MsShawna,

Congratulations on your weight loss surgery.  Since you are so new out give your surgeon's office a call and let them know what is  happening and what they want you to do. If you were further out we could make some suggestions but at this point you need to follow your surgeons advice.

We look forward to seeing you shrink

I was kind of in the same boat as you, although my did not get that low. I talked to my primary care physician and she took me off my diabetic medicine and told me to keep some glucose gel close in case I needed it. Hope everything works out okay.

Thank you the hospital took me off diabetic meds before I left to go home.

I was wondering if you were still having low blood sugar bouts to date? I have had type II diabetes for years and it has gone pretty normal and now I experience low blood sugars every know and then. I have not had surgery yet I am still in the running of all the tests phases. But it would be interesting to find out if this lasted if you are still having troubles with it and or if it went away.

TIA Amber
