blood sugars low
I am 20 days post-op and my surgeon has me eating 4 small creamy meals a day. I am exercising a hr now my blood sugar is staying low all day. And when I wake in the morning it is real low like between 59 and 63 what can I do about it I don't want to pass out I have one of my twin sons who's 9 has type 1 diabetes and he often wakes up low now its both of us.
Hi MsShawna,
Congratulations on your weight loss surgery. Since you are so new out give your surgeon's office a call and let them know what is happening and what they want you to do. If you were further out we could make some suggestions but at this point you need to follow your surgeons advice.
We look forward to seeing you shrink ![]()
I was wondering if you were still having low blood sugar bouts to date? I have had type II diabetes for years and it has gone pretty normal and now I experience low blood sugars every know and then. I have not had surgery yet I am still in the running of all the tests phases. But it would be interesting to find out if this lasted if you are still having troubles with it and or if it went away.
