Over my fears of haveing surgery & now a few questions
I should but I don't.
That said, if I know I am going to be sitting for long periods of time (i.e., long road trips), I will wear compression sleeves on my calves but I don't go full on with the compression stockings.
Thank you for your post, this is also my concern, but instead I have young kids and a single parent and will really have to arrange for family to come over to help me out when im recovering. Kudos to you for you taking care of your parents walking on your break is an excellent idea also there are tons of exercise videos on youtube you can do at home 15 mins to start is better than nothing.
You sure have alot going on and it is wonderful that you are taking steps for your health. I am having surgery next Thursday the 17th. Three days before my birthday. I know how you feel except that I am a single mom of three teenage boys and work as a purchasing buyer in the oil field. Very stressful job. I started walking at lunch. After the surgery I hope to get right back to walking and then see how much energy I have...lol. I have alot of joint pain due to fibro. Here's hoping both our surgeries go great and we start getting the energy some have posted about :-)
