I think it was really strong of you to take the high road and approach her like an adult. I think it shows the confidence that is gained through this journey in syncing your mind with your changing body. I think what's more important that you exerted control over your emotions, which shows you can have control over your eating and this process, and be extremely successful. What's most important is that you didn't let her comments derail you and you are confident and satisfied in your decision to follow through with this journey!
Way to go with being positive instead of negative. The power of Gods grace helps us with that. I actually had a family member say to me the other day "how much have you lost?" and instead of saying that's great or good job she said "well you'll eventually get there" I just smiled and said thanks. It's difficult dealing with negativity or offish attitudes from strangers but it's just plain weird when it's family that's negative. Your attitude does show your great heart.

Baby girl, if she is the reason you removed that smile...bring her here and let me slap her!
No, you handled her like you needed to and one day, she will regret treating you that way. You keep on doing what you are doing and if you have trouble with that, let me remind you what your son told you about him not being ashamed of you! Hugs![]()
