Diane is right. Hot showers are the best. They warm you up and help relax you.  I needed lots of naps during the day. You are still healing. Go easy on yourself. Your shakes and water are both considered liquids. I sure by next week you will be feeling much better.

You just had major surgery and your body will take a while to adjust and heal. Your new sleeve is also very swollen and as the weeks go by it will become more easier to drink and eat. Focus on liquids and sip, sip every 2-3 minutes. Try some sugar free cystal light, powerade ZERO or isopure. Good luck

You should be walking a mile 4 days post op? That seems crazy. I slept like crazy for the first two weeks. You need to do whatever your body is telling you. If you need sleep then SLEEP! Be kind to yourself. You've just had major surgery. At four days out you are probably still feeling the aftereffects of anesthesia. You can ask your doctor for anti nausea meds too. Zofran was my best friend for weeks!

I had surgery on the 23rd also. My doctor specifically told me NO EXERCISING, but try to walk a little every day. I am by no way getting my liquids in either, but I am peeing regularly, so I am not too concerned. I take a 2-3 hour nap everyday, because I just simply have to. I think this is normal.  Hang in there, and listen to yr body. Try to walk short distances each day. If you feel tired or cramping, listen to your body and stop.
