Opened inscision

Well I either picked up more than I should have or something because I have opened an inscision. My doctor said to stop taking showers and to clean it with water and put a square of gauze over it.

I guess I should follow instructions better

You can also use 0.9% Sodium Chloride to clean it also...not sure how deep the wound is. I had my lap band remove do to a infection at the port site and now I have a very deep wound. Look forward to have my VSG in a few weeks.

I have been picking up my 20 pound son sometimes and I shouldn't be.  I cannot stop being a mom. But luckily for the most part he is mobile.

If it's seeping, a maxipad makes a great bandage.
