I am a week out and I have noticed that after I eat or drink, I get girgles, wheezes, growls and moans in the tummy. Is this just my meals settling, is it air trying to escape? What in the world? I am trying to eat slowly, off a baby spoon, and I am trying so hard not to intake air with sips and spoonfuls.

The gurgles and noises are just a feature of the sleeve. Sleeved bellies just love to talk. It can go away over time or always be there from what I've read.

I'm 16 months post-op and my stomach STILL makes lots of noises, especially if I eat certain foods.  I've learned not to eat them when I'm around other people - lol!

Nothing is wrong, it's just your new reality :-)
