weight loss & hair loss
Rod,
Way to go! It sounds like you really have the weight loss going on. I wish i liked vegetables but I really don't. Suppose if i did I wouldn't be in this forum. I had surgery last monday and feel pretty darn good. Just totally ready for this weight to start coming off. Patience has never been my vurtue. Keep up the good work.

I know a lot of folks lose hair due to this surgery's effects, but I also know a lot of folks have hypothyroidism and don't know it. My main symptom of my hypothyroidism was major hair loss (as well as being cold and very lethargic), as it is for some. It can't hurt to be checked for that, just in case. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
How are you doing on drinking water? I always notice a slow down if I slack off and don't drink at least 64 ounces a day.
My hair loss started at 3-1/2 months and stopped around nine months. I tried taking biotin, but all I noticed was a significant increase in hair growth ON MY FACE. It's just one of those things you have to wait out. New hair styles seem to help.
I think there are calorie germs floating in the atmosphere between Thanksgiving and New Years that automatically slows down weight loss. I'm doing my best not to gain and just get through this time without completely losing my mind. The temptations are horrendous.

I have kept my protein up and taken Biotin since the beginning as well as fish oil & vitamins, and still had major hair loss. My surgery was the first of June 2014 and I now finally have stopped losing hair, and growing it back (funny sticking straight up) I don't know if my body just got adjusted or it is because of using "Nioxin 2' for the last 1 1/2 month, but I like it either way.
