ok, I have a question about the Fitbit. I am a cheapo and didn't want to pay $100 or more for a fitness band but wanted one. So, I have bought and returned 2 off brands so far. One of them did not have an option for 12 hour time, it was in 24 hour time and metric for weight height. You could change that on the app but it would not keep the change. The second one showed I had used 997 calories the minute I synced it. Then it showed I had slept 2.8 hours. Both of these measured movements in addition to steps. I could sit in one spot and move my arms and they would record that as "steps". Does the Fitbit record all movements as steps? Is it possible all fitness bands records the same way?
