Nutritionist
I also would advocate seeing a dietitian both before and after surgery. I met with mine a couple times before surgery and she helped me make changes in preparation and my appointments with her since surgery have been helpful too. My dietitian is pretty conservative and my surgeon is more moderate. Having the 2 different view points allows me to have a pretty comprehensive picture of my nutritional needs and goals.
So I found an RD with bariatric support experience and I'll be seeing her on Monday. I'm still constantly exhausted by any activity but liquids are going down well, doing 64oz of water and then cranberry juice or a bit of peach tea. Been making and pureeing chicken breast and broccoli, not had any problems.
Thanks for the advice :)
