Blood thinners

I got Lovenox and SCDs in the hospital, and I went home with my own SCDs.  My doc told me to wear the SCDs when I was sleeping or sitting for extended periods of time.   I wore them faithfully for a couple of weeks, because I worried about blood clots.  As far as I know insurance picked up the cost of the SCDs I took home.  Maybe your doc could write an order for SCDs to take home?  I don't know if you can purchase those at a medical supply store or what.  My doc had them in his office.
