12Yrs Post Op with jumping feeling in center of chest.

I have been having this jumping feeling in center of chest for a long time but can't seem to figure out the cause. It seems worse when I have gas which is all the time. Does anyone else experience this. It almost feels like my heart but I think it may be abd related. I also having a sliding hiatal hernia.

I've had the same jumping feeling for years, and for me it's linked to gas and my sliding hiatal hernia, trapped air and pressure seem to push against the diaphragm and mimic heart flutters. What helps is smaller meals, avoiding carbonated/gassy foods, staying upright after eating, gentle walking, and using Gas-X when needed.

Thank you so much for this information. I also have a hiatal hernia. I've been trying to find out what was causing this for years. I do notice if I don't take daily gasx its worse.
