Plastics-Getting Started
I am nearly two years post op and am getting ready to start researching info on local plastic surgeons and costs to get the first part of my "reconstruction" done.
I am looking for info, resources, or references any of you might have on plastic surgeons in Seattle. Due to costs and having to pay out of pocket, I am planning on a breast lift and enhancement first, then a lower body lift or tummy tuck later on down the road.
Any info or advice you can give would be appreciated. Thanks!
Georgette,
Had my first consult with Dr. Phillip Haeck in Seattle. He seems great, and his consults are free so go talk to him and see what he has to say!! I liked him ...

Hey Georgette,
Your very lucky - you have two fantastic plastic surgeons in your backyard.
The one I used - Dr Egrari - is wonderful
Another one folks seem very happy with is Dr Dry.
Both have experience with people that have lost massive amounts of weight and understand the differences in skin than "normal" weight people. Of course I highly recommend Dr Egrari as he is the surgeon I choose, but I did consult with Dr Dry and found him knowledgeable as well. Dr Egrari has a surgical center, so the costs will be cheaper. I will be having him do my breasts and arms, I just had my LBL this past Feb.
Good luck!
Kimberly

Georgette,
If you don't mind me asking (and if you do, please don't answer!), how much is a lower body lift?
I'm trying to figure out my finances in the FAR future (ahem...I haven't even had my first surgery or lost a pound yet). How much is an arm lift? Chest? Just ballpark numbers will do.
Thanks!
Kate
Hi!
I went south of the border for my WLS, since I paid out of pocket. The board that I am on from my surgeon has recently been talking about reconstructive surgery. If you are self pay you might want to consider going south. The website that they quoted was http://www.yourmakeovers.com/
By the way, your picture looks fantastic!
Good Luck.
