Saturday get-together at 1pm

I'm SOOOO Bummed!!!  I can't come today.     My husband is roofing our new garage and his dad, two friends and one of the friend's sons were all coming to help him, but have dropped like flies.  His mom went into the hospital Thursday night and is still there, so his dad is up there, too.  His one friend can't get on the roof because he just had to have emergency surgery to replace his knee he blew out and the other friend's son turns 18 today and decided this morning that he wanted to go play for his birthday.  All completely understandble, but that leaves my husband and his one friend to do the roofing, so they've asked me to go up on the roof with them and hand them the shingles so they can work without having to continually get up to get more shingles.   Maybe I can come next time.  I was REALLY looking forward to meeting you all!

Thats too bad I hope we will see you nextime!  Now listen here... its supposed to be warm today so lots of sunscreen and water for you!  Don't want you to get sickagain!!

Um, yep - sunscreen would have been a great idea!!  We bought some yesterday, but forgot to use it today - got a little burned.  I'll keep my eye out for when you guys get together again!!

I'm runnin late ladies.  I've been chattin with the hubby!  So when he gets off I will fix my self up and be over!
