Merry Meet

I have lurked here for a lil' bit and thought I would post a little about myself. I have been a solitary practitioner for about five years. Although I must say this past few months I have done nothing regarding Sabbats and such. Bold! I am pre op and have no surgery date as of yet. Doctor states I need to lose 10% before I can even get a date. Only 16 more pounds to go!! If you would like to know any more about me feel free to ask. Need to speak with more people who know where I come from. Kind of tired out from hearing people telling me to leave it in Gods hands.LOL Brightest Blessings Darlene

Yeah that is definitely something most of us are tired of hearing so you are not alone in that sentiment. I always think to myself.... ummm... God didn't make me fat, I did, so my health is in my own darn hands! All I can do is ask the deity to show me the path that is laid out for me. KWIM?! Well welcome to the boards! And do not feel bad about not doing formal celebrations at the sabbats... we all celebrate and worship in our own way and if we live out lives everyday as the Lord and Lady hopes for us to, then why do we need all the formality? You are not any less a pagan for not practicing at the sabbats then a Christian who does not go to church every Sunday. LOL! Good luck on getting to your goal so that you can proceed on this journey!
