I am in So Cal, and have a surgery date of Oct 19th. I was suprised to see a wiccan site here, how cool is that, I have been Wiccan for approx 25 years, am solo now, but have been in large groups in the past and during my training years. I must say, I was pleasently suprised to find a Wiccan forum on this site!!! I am so tired of the other places out there that are supposed to be a support group but when you "slip up" and say something that indicates you are not Christian, you all of a sudden become a freak or something! LOL! Anyways, I just wanted to say Hello to everyone! My name is Jamie and I am pre-op. I am an Army wife out at Fort Campbell, KY and I belong to a local coven here. I have been walking the Path of the Old Ones for several years now and I find peace in my faith while going through all this WLS stuff. With six doctors backing you and medical problems I don't see why community care is being stubbon. I suppose its their job. I'm glad its theirs and not mine. Where I live obesity is considered a disease. I've got my surgery date, its October 10th. Right now it seems forever away but once it turns September it may go a little faster for me. Hugs, Barbara

Merry Meet Deb, I started my journey on March 11, 2004. I've been though all the appointments and paper work and am now waiting on insurance to reply. Northeast Surgery said they have 30 days to reply and they faxed my papers on August 19th. That meens their time is up tomorrow. Neadless to say I have butterflys in my tummy.
