Hi Cam, I know a few free WICCA 101 type E-Books where you can learn a great deal. MAIDEN MOON is a great work by the CHURCH OF MAGICK and you can read it on: [email protected]. Also, in MA, we have the WICCAN EDUCATION SOCIETY "WES" that has a nice site. www.wesociety.com .There is another site that has some interesting links and a Q & A section...www.witchery.com/shadow.html ... and always there is the Witches League of Public Awareness which you can locate at: www.celticcrow.com

Thanks for your response (you look great btw). I've had little conversations with the Lady and Lord on a nearly daily basis. And happily have my fellow coven mates sending me energy and healing.
As well of course many non-Pagan folks on this site sending me their on well wishes and prayers.

I actually was allowed to take a small candle and I lit it in the pre-op room I was in for 2 hours. It helped me with anxiety, and nervousness that I was going through. Also the night before I did a small ritual to the Goddess asking her to please watch over me as I went through another journey step in my life. It seemed to help me alot.

Your doing right with the note book. Your BOS can be anything you want to write in. I blessed mine by burning insence in the honor to Gaia and asked her blessing while I passed it though the smoke.
I will give you some good info on herbal healing just as soon as I can get some time on a computer. Right now I am visiting a friend (also Wiccan) And I don't want to tie up her net.
By the way my husband is 1/2 Sioux and has some training as a Shaman. I will ask him for info also.

Hi, I'm new here to AMOS and thought I'd post a cheery Bright Blessings to my fellow Wiccans and Pagans brave enought to list it on here!
I hope everyone is doing well both pre and post op.
I myself go under the knife next week!
Just curious...Did anyone do any special spiritual work or ritual before their surgery.
