Merry Meet, Jen, and Welcome Back!! I joined this group almost a month ago. I have not had surgery yet...waiting for insurance to finally make a decision............I am not a patient waiter.....;) I too have done alot of research and reading, trying to find 'the' path that's right for me. I cannot say I am 'completely" wiccan, but the wiccan path is so much closer to what feels right than anything else i've found. I suppose I am what you could call "solitary eclectic" altho a couple of my daughters have expressed a definite interest in wicca. They are already witches, and have decided to make the jump to something more 'spiritual', for which I am very thrilled! Summer Soltice is June 21st or 22nd. We always go with the 21st, it's less confusing for us. Midsummer is August 1st and second. It's called Lughnasadh or Lammas, both names are correct. If theres anything else you have a quistion about I'll be happy to try to help. BB, Brokenwing

that sounds like it would be so much fun. I would like to know enough and have others close by that I could share in such. the next soltice is in august isn't it or do I have that wrong. well there is mid summers I guess I need to get another copy of wiccian for dummies book and learn all over any how thanks for the reply.
