I spent the entire day at the state fair. Not a lot of good food choices there - lots of choices but not really any good ones! Thank goodness I brought protien bars along! B protien shake 3 protien bars 2 bites rasberry shake 1 small cheese curd(deep fried) Used to be so yummy, now it's just greasy. 2 small bags popcorn 1 cup potato soup 1 (yep, one) potato chip

Reporting another good day... Scale still says 168 tho so I guess I need to REALLY concentrate on upping the protein, dropping the carbs and upping the water... B: eng muffin with cand bacon/cheese s protein bar L ceasar salad with chick and some bean salad s protein bar dinner grilled chick (thats it... filled me up) no after dinner snack and was hungry when i went to bed.... looking at this I also think I need to up my calories..... seems like a lot when Im eating but not when I go back to write it all down.... Since I have the long weekend I will concentrate on increasing protein (adding a couple of shakes) and water... excercise will take care of itself as we are going hiking up in the white mountains. need to look for the kashi waffles.. bet they would be great with peanut butter! hey karen! mmm...kashi waffles with peanut butter. yummm...i love peanut butter with well anything but on waffles and pancakes...yummm!! my scale is up again...man i hope this is just that monthly bloat and it goes away soon! i don't get it...i've really cut the carbs and have increased my walking...i'm walking twice as much everyday now. i'm so confused....go away pounds!! i've been doing walk away the pounds but they haven't walked anywhere yet!

The Kashi waffles are good with peanut butter. I also like the blueberry ones. They are good with sugar free blackberry jam made by Smucker's. Melissa

B - Scrambled egg/whole grain tortilla wrap L - about 1/3 of a large bbq chicken breast, 1/4 c baked beans, 1/4 c slaw D - about 1 cup of chicken stir fry and about 1 oz of blueberries 1 hour step class, 30 minute Pilates class I've cut way back on the coffee, only having 1 in the am and 1 after lunch; I've way upped my water/Crystal Lite, and I've laid completely off the wine. Thanks for doing this, Step. I've made up my mind to post to this thread every day that I'm on line and the thought of having to post that I've eaten one of those dang doughnuts that one of the fellows in this office seems bound and determined to bring in almost everyday for the last two weeks has helped enormously! wow...doughnuts...that would be tempting. i guesss i'm lucky in that i dump on sugar so i don't have to worry about those temptations. my hubby got a krispy kreme donut at the store last night and ate it in the car...the smell was just so fantastic....i was like slow down so i can keep smelling that...of course he didn't...he inhaled the thing! but i'm with you...this post keeps me going to stay away from the carbs too!!

Hi everyone, Made it thru dinner out last night and it went fine for me. Sooo happy I've been able to stick to my no carb pledge. Since I have Pounds of water weight has been comming off for me. Now I must try to increase my protein without using the protein bars, which was I learned putting the weight on. B=1 hard egg with one half teaspoon mayo L= 1 hard egg with one half teaspoon mayo D=salmon/onions and mushrooms S=1 orange Linda

Linda, if you are 1+ year out, I dont see how you are surviving on that amount of food..... I'd starve..... you are a tough cookie... I think my body would be in starvation mode.... Wow.... Hugs Karen
