friday check in....
well today was a pretty good day for me...i did 8.5 miles WATP and had one minor carb slip up...but i've been running low on blood the sugar levels today. not sure what's up with that!!

S-1/2 protein smoothie
L-tuna and an apple

S- 1/2 protein smoothie
here's the slip up....4 pringles that hubby was eating...dang it!1
D-patty melt on low carb bread...some spinach...maybe pudding
S-possibly a carbwise bar if blood sugar is low later

I had a horrible day for eating. Anything and everything. Won't even mention the potato chips that called my name this morning. Or the bacon, egg, and tomato sandwich for supper. Let's just say, tomorrow is another day. Good thing I don't do this very often!
In my defense, not that there is any, I'm getting off the glucophage since it really screwed up my appetite (none), very low blood sugar (48), gas, diarrhea, stomach pain, muscle pain, fatigue from hell. Not having an appetite was a strange feeling. But it's back. Too bad there isn't a happy medium. So today the appetite was back full force as were the cravings for crunchy and salty. Have to do better tomorrow.
ohhh...we all have those days!! i'm having problems with my blood sugar being too low too but i'm not on meds anymore..haven't been since the surgery. i don't know what my deal is! but you're right...tomorrow is another day. although...saturday is my hardest day. i got out to lunch with mom and sis every saturday. not sure where we're going but i'll make the best food choice off the menu. i hope i'm that good tomorrow to do that anyway...

I don't know why I had the bread for crying out loud, I was right by Taco Bell and was going to get me some beans and then thought nah I will just eat something at home, once I got home I was starved and just grabbed the stupid sandwich.
Okay confession I over, tomorrow WILL be better!

Missed my exercise hour because an employee tripped at work and had to go to employee health just as I was leaving so I had to cover the phones until she got back.
All of my vitamins and water. Too many snacks, was craving and hungry all day for some reason. I plan on going to the gym as well as power cleaning tomorrow. I felt like I had done worse than what I did all day, still could of skipped that cookie and the wheat thins but otherwise I guess it was o.k, I might have some watermelon before bed, craving that as well! I cut one up and had a bite and it was GOOD, but I like mine cold and this warm, I should just go to bed!

well that sucks that you got stuck at work! so did you like the banana w/pnut butter? i love it....i really have to watch myself though cuz i lovvvvee peanut butter!! i did find some stuff at trader joe's and i know they sell it on the internet called better 'n peanut butter it's like half the calories of regular peanut butter but you have to keep it refrigerated and it's not too easy to spread that way but it's not bad! i'm the same with watermelon...has to be really cold. oddly enough i haven't had any watermelon this summer...i need to get some before its too late.

Hang in there everyone with slip up days. I can't beleive the way I've been eating. It's just like the honeymoon phase just dropped in for a visit and any moment I'll be back to a major struggle again, just like everyone else. I'm thinking about you all, these difficult days will pass. Every morning I think of a post that was on the board recentlY which said something like "WE MUST DIE TO ONE LIFE BEFORE WE CAN ENTER ANOTHER".

Well, I did pretty good until dinner time. I had to baby sit my 18 month old nephew so my sis and her hubby could go out and celebrate their anniversary. I have a 14 yr old and a 4 yr old myself. So, I opted for taking them to McDonald's because as we rode through town my nephew saw the sign and started clapping and saying yeah. So, that is where we stopped. LOL.

Exercise: Walked and took kids to park after we ate and had to climb on and through everything as my nephew is too little to do it alone. This is a really big playground with lots of big slides and ladders to climb. I was exhausted.
