Wow! My 1 year anniversary is tomorrow and I would love to celebrate with a butterfly tattoo.. A butterfly because it symbolizes a new beginning. I have been thinking about getting a butterly tattoo recently.. now I have a reason to go out and get it.. 1 year anniversary post op... thanks for the idea!

kathy...that tat is awesome! i love it!! it looks so great and the colors are so beautiful. don't be like me though and get addicted to getting tattoos. i was addicted when i was younger and i have 6 tats now. i wish i could get rid of 4 of them!!

Kathy - it's beautiful! Colors are vibrant. Love the butterfly & the Celtic style. I'm 50. I'm holding @ goal over 3 years now. I'm getting tattooed this Saturday! I've chosen a lower back piece - some green leaves, delicate vines w/ BUTTERFLY in the middle. For me the BUTTERFLY is my symbol of TRANSFORMATION to the REAL ME that was always hiding inside. My son is the artist - so I'll be quite proud to post later. Thanks for sharing!
