1. Name: Kathi Atkins 2. Surgery Type: Laprascopic RNY 3. Surgery Date: Dec 14, 2004 4. How Far post op: 26 months 5. Highest Weight: 274 6. Day of Surgery Weight: 266 7. Goal Weight: 158 (Doctor), 150 (Me) 8. Current Weight: 170 9. Low Weight Post Op: 160 ( after hysterectomy in Feb, 2006, and not eating very much. 10. Biggest struggle as a post-op: trying to deal with my emotional eating, and why I was fat in the first place. I have not switched addictions to anything else, but find myself falling into old habits of eating foods I shouldn't. I actually went back up to 175 in January, and have vowed to hit my goal, so I am back to the basics of exercise(which I never really did) and recording everything I eat and trying to maintain 1200-1500 calories perday. So far I have been successful, and I now start thinking about one minute at a time, rather than the final goal. If I can just stay healthy, and feel good, I will be happy. I don't want to have to go buy another whole wardrobe if I gain weight.
