MAMAMC gastroplasy 83 and emergency open RNY because of scar tissue and GERD post op 24 yrs ( horse and buggy days) was able to keep the wt off but took many yrs  highest wt 347 day of surgery wt I wished to get to yr of surgery  185  wt now  150-165 I wander up and down  biggest problem..  not able to work.. no insurance.. no income..internal scar tissue.. back pain and hate that I still can't drink milk or eat cheese without pain...  I lit a candle for all those that knows of the fight we go through daily and for the rest of our lives

Hi I am Texas girl1 first name Connie I had RNY gastric bypass, Banner good samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona surgery date was 21st Sept. 05 I am 22 mo. Post-op My highest weight ever was 267... Oh My... but stayed at 250 for 5 yrs.. before surgery Day of surgery my weight was 235 My personal goal is 155, just cause..  My current weight is 159.... My biggest struggle post -op is portion control, night eating and crave salty foods, crackers and chips, love Pringles.. funny thing before surgery hated Pringles.... see ya!
