Weigh****chers after RNY??
Has anyone had luck with Weigh****chers after RNY? I lost to within 20 pounds of goal weight after surgery in 2004, in the last 15 months I've gained 45 pounds! Started WW right after the first of the year and am down 10 pounds. Journalling is the key for me, but I am having a hard time in my head putting the rules of the pouch together with the low fat, high fiber ways of WW.
Anyone else have an experience with this you want to share?? I am doing flex and as long as I make sure and have my protein for breakfast - eggs or yogurt and lean meats and salad for lunch - I'm doing okay. My protein has been between 60 and 100 g a day and calories between 1000 and 1500 since I started tracking those also on sparkpeople. My main problem is snacking! I crave crunch and salt! I have been staying on points, but want to make sure that I get all of my protein in, too...
I actually lean toward the SB way of eating. I think it really fits the lifestyle of the WLS patient after surgery, emphasizing proteins, veggies, some fruit and whole grain carbs. It's worked for me!
