Hi, I just wanted to say that I lurk regularly and enjoy this thread! I am looking for more ways to get my fluids in and your coffee/latte/frapp drinks sound so good! I never drank coffee prior to surgery but have noticed i have been enjoying some- a mixture of coffee and hot cocoa, don't know what you call it LOL!! Would it be possible to get some recipes or suggestions from you or others???? Thanks in advance! Hugz Dawn Ps I also have a hot cocoa latte machine that I received for xmas, so any suggestions on throwing things in it and givin it a whirl- I am game!

Hi Dawn, Outside of starbucks sf/ff latte's (my all time fav) my next most favorite is what I call a protein frappe or frappachino, recipe as follows: 8 oz choc carb count down milk 1/2 a banana 1 scoop chocolate protein powder 3-4 ice cubes 1 packet splenda  1 1/2  heaping tbsp of decaf instant coffee throw it all in and blend until smooth, really tastes good and reminds me of my full sugar frappachino days pre surgery... Also like to make hot cocoa with chocolate protein  - this is really good 1/2 blended with coffee...Milk is a great source of protein which is why I go for the latte's instead of just regular coffee when I'm in a coffee shop...Since you have a machine, try getting some sf syrups to use as mix ins with your coffee - my local walmart carries 5 or 6 flavors all the time and Susan Maria's site has at least 30 ... Good luck with the mixology, I know there are tons of great suggestions out there...
