I am considering doing this and I know some people suggested that it helps to kind of shrink up the pouch a little. I don't know if that's just their imagination or if it really works. I guess some surgeons suggest it and some don't. I know what my surgeon suggests as a means to start weight loss after gaining when you are several years post op. I am just wondering if anyone has gone back to a liquid diet, then soft foods, then regular foods again? If so, how long did you stay in each stage and what were the results?
Thanks,
Angela
hey there...i haven't tried it yet but starting tomorrow i'm going to be doing a diet of protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and then either chicken or fish for dinner only. i'm going to see if that helps kick my butt back into gear. i don't have a problem with exercising, i get up and do that every morning before i work but i have taken on some poor eating habits as well. i haven't gained much weight from it but i don't want to fall into the habit and start getting lazy too...then i'd really be screwed!! i'm going to start on monday and see how it goes.

Hey Tracy!! How are you doing honey! I haven't had too much time to get on here lately. I've still been putting in a lot of hours trying to get my last surgery paid off so i can have the next one. i have a pre-op appt. on april 27th for my tt revision and my breast lift. kevin decided he didn't want me to get implants so i'm just having the girls lifted. i'm ok with that as long as the aren't hanging down my belly size doesn't matter that much. the doc said i wouldn't lose much size wise they'll just sit pretty for me! so i'll take that! i'm excited about having all this finished i just hope it all goes better than the first time because i don't want to go through anymore surgeries if i don't have to! i'm looking forward to enjoying my body finally...hopefully this diet will help me gain back control so all this $$ i'm dishing out will be worth all the effort! talk to you soon!!

Angie;
I don't know if you ever hang out on the Texas board, but Tracy W. did a liquid diet for a couple weeks earlier this year. I think he lost 17 lbs. the first week. He's about 2 years out, so yes, a liquid diet will still work in kick starting some weight loss.
