REGRETS?????
No regrets whatsoever, would rather have been compliant with the pouch rules for my own sake. I wish I would still get sick from having sugar, the results don't last forever. But they did say it was a tool to give me the opportunity to be on a level playing field with a normal sized person, I can't ask for more than that!
I'm not going to say I regret the surgery. But I do regret that I didn't "hear" the health professionals who told me I could have complications, that this was a life time committmment, and so on. Since I was young and relatively healthy I just assumed it would be easy. I just saw all the thin people, desparately wanted what they had....It is not easy....But its better than weighing 450+ pounds by a long shot.
I was expected something different that what I experienced....There are health concerns I didn't anticipate....I have been very successful and in the exact cir****tances that I was in, for sure I would so it again.
