Accountability - What did you eat, Monday 6/11?
Alesia I am really trying hard to loose the rest of this weight; I think posting on this thread will help. So, here is Monday.
B: 1 egg, half an English muffin
Sf/ff camel latte
S: Attune bar (I don’t recommend them, I wanted something sweet and this was a better choice then candy, but not much better)
L: Salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, black beans, cucumber) with grilled chicken and 2 TBS dressing
S: 13 almonds
D: Salad with grilled chicken
Approximate Calories: 1475 (I tend to over estimate calories and underestimate protein) Approximate Protein: 80 (that’s the bad thing about eating out you can’t get exact cal info)
I didn’t mean to have salad for lunch and dinner, but I went out for dinner and it was and easy health option. I didn’t work out yesterday because my body was aching from over doing it with my workout on Sunday. I am just a little sore today, but I am fine to workout. I drank 50 ounces of water, I kind of slacked on that, I will do better today.

...You are so close, just like 15 lbs to goal, I know you are going to make it...I find accounting to others is the best way for me to keep myself and my choices in control, kind of a guilt factor for me really, don't want to report to others that I made really horrible choices over and over again, so I account and remind myself that others are watching and that helps keep me in line...
I think you had a pretty good eating day...So what if you had salad for 2 meals, has anyone said this is a problem getting in too much roughage, cause I think as long as you are able to get in enough protein too, the veggies are an added bonus way to get in vits and minerals besides taking supplements, so go for the salad, by all means and enjoy it...
As for cal, protein, fat and carb estimates, have you looked at sparkpeople as an alternative, they have alot of other "prepared" food breakdowns and you can always just breakdown the full list of ingredients in any dish and count it that way - I usually just look for each item that I can from restaurant choices and kinda fudge things I'm not sure of so I can get some kind of accounting and list them seperately, do best estimates on amounts used in recipes, I think this gets me pretty close to may actual numbers...
Look forward to seeing you again on board...Remember, you are the captain of your ship, you decide where it will sail and if its going to get back on course when you slip of track...

Hi Alesia!! Thanks for making me feel so welcome.
It's my goal for these 2 weeks in my WLS support group to try and make more whole food choices instead of packaged stuff and more fruit instead of stuff with aspartame in it.
Oh boy, am I still trying to lose!! I was on a plateau since month 10 (zero loss for 2 months) and now about a 6 pound loss in the past 2 months. I'm not ready for the "slow down/stop" yet!!!!
I've lost a total of 145 so far and my surgeon's goal is 199 or 40 more pounds. My goal will probably be around 180 I think. I won't know until I get there because I'm sure I haven't weighed anything close to that since I was a child
Yes, love the area. Contact me anytime and I'll see ya on the accountability post!!!! Sorry for the rambling post. . .
