Update on Me and Why I've been MIA
Well life is busy. Lots has happened since surgery. I had surgery on March 14th, breast lift with augmentation, brachioplasty, anchor cut TT. No major problems thank God. Had to have a seroma drained twice but otherwise no problems.
When I returned to work from surgery I was informed that my job would be terminated on June 30th. Talk about stress, I just spent $17,600 in money that could sustain us for a good period of time. I started looking for work immediately. Sent out tons of resumes and wasn't hearing much, it was a very emotional time.
Lo and behold a job opportunity that sounded interested and would relocate me back to Cajun Country came up. My resume was sent to them via a headhunter on Friday, I got an interview on the following Monday and the call that would change our lives on Wednesday of that week. Three weeks of packing, painting our house to put it on the market and well we are back to SW Louisiana. Currently living with my in-laws and hoping our home in Texas sells quickly. Kinda in limbo right now.....can't afford two mortages so it is wait and see what happens time.
I start my new job on Monday. And during all this my darn hard drive crashes so I have no computer right now. Tonight I'm at my sister's house and trying to catch up on what's been going on.
Plastics have really given me that extra self-confidence that is allowing me to get by all the stress we've had lately. I'll post again soon and hopefully next month I can afford to buy a new computer.
So tell me a little about what's been going on in your lives.......
Hugs,
Dana

Hi Dana! I think about you often and have been wondering what you've been up too! I am so happy that the new job came thru and how great that you can be near family again!
Not much is new here~just summer vacation time with the kids so that's always fun and busy.
Anyway, glad to hear that things are going well for you! Hope you get a new puter soon!
