Hi Denise, Lookin' good ...How do you keep your fat so low, I always seem to get in more fat a day than I really think I need, suspect it is the peanut butter I love so much that is doing me in (LOL)... Keep up the good work, you are doing awesome ...Alesia

Thanks.  I needed that today.  It's tough.  My nut changed alot of things since I was plateaued from 10-12 mos and on a stall month 13.  Cheese was my nemesis!!!  Oh, don't get me wrong I love peanut butter too. (There's not much I don't like).  She cut out alot of fat (whites instead of whole eggs, cheese, double helpings of dressing, etc.) Thanks for the support it really helps.

Glad to hear you are feeling better!  I must say it sounds like the surgery was a breeze.  This is reassuring to me.  I've been leery of going under the knife again after the RNY  (i had a nasty little complication that left me in the hospital 9 days)  Anyways, part of me wants to have plastic surgery and the other part of me thinks of the last surgery and says no way!  Still at least a year away from deciding though.  Anyways, I am glad to hear things have gone so well!!  I had another good day.  I was a little low on calories though.  I had my meeting last night and it ran until almost 9pm and I wasn't home until almost 10pm so I sure as heck didn't feel like cooking.  I did stop and get some subway at least.  Here's how it looked. B:  20 oz sugar free caramel nonfat latte S: la tortilla low carb green onion tortilla, laughing cow lite swiss cheese wedge, two plum tomatoes sliced with salt and pepper L: sweet meatloaf S: salad with lettuce, tomato, green onion, blue cheese, dried cranberries, croutons, and a couple sprays of wishbone italian spritzer S: 8 strawberries D: grilled chicken and spinach salad from subway with red wine vinegar on top. Calories -- 1166 Fat -- 44 Carbs -- 115 - (21 grams fiber) Protein -- 90 You know that really looks like a lot of food for only 1166 calories..It felt like a lot of food.  It's got to be all the veggies I eat.. Hey Kerri, It was a good day, yes it was!!!  I know what you mean about amount of food vs. the total numbers, sometimes I look at it all and just shake my head...Really think, man how much was I eating presurgery, cause this looks like alot to me when I write it down - but then, like you say, I look at what the content is and know that its about choosing much better choices for what I am eating and how it is prepared... Did the meeting go well? Hope so... Overall I think everything has gone great with all my surgeries, I've had a number over the years, pre-WLS and of course post-WLS - but never had a really bad experience from any of them, that definately made it easier to make the decision to go for the plastics...In the end you just have to see what you really want and do what you are comfortable with...My SIL had to have a breast removed 2 years ago from cancer and she told me she thought I was a better person than her because I was willing to brave the BL/BA, but I told her, if I had been through everything she did in relation to the cancer I might not have been in the same frame of mind to have another surgery either... Anyway, thanks for lending support...Alesia

Aleisha, I was looking at those Aussie bites at Costco.  Do you know the breakdown on a serving?  And how many are in a serving?  (I am guessing one.)

Man, those aussie bites are REALLY good and if I'm going to go for a sweet with real sugar in it this is just the thing - chewy, crunchy, sweet and since they have good grains the fiberousness makes just one very satisfying... Here is the stats, DH & I love them : 1 per serving 130 Cals 6 grams fat 3.5 sat fat  no trans fats 17 grams carbs 2 grams fiber 9 grams sugar 2 grams protein Think most of the sugar in each bite comes from the dried fruits, nuts and honey used... Not for everyday on my menu but a nice treat to have once and a while... Alesia
