Accountability - What did you eat, Thursday 6/14?
Hi Nursygirl,
Welcome to accountability...I started this post because it really seems to make a difference for me to be reporting in to others, it helps me to stay on course and do what I need to do, mostly I think because of the guilt factor involved in reporting that sometimes I'm a food dummy - ya know like smack your head with your hand, why'd I do that sort of thing...
Anyway, writing it down helps - as you could see for yourself today, made you realize the protein numbers weren't as much as they should be...So come on back and post with us as often as you need, want or like, I'll be here reporting in daily, checking to see what my fellow posties are doing too and hopefully finding ways to keep this ship on the straight and narrow
...Doesn't look like you are making poor choices on content, just need to beef it up a little to boost the daily totals and keep your body and mind healthy and happy...
See ya soon, come on back...Alesia

Hi Alesia~
Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and your warm welcome. You are right about writing it down. it certainly makes you realize what is actually happening. I am with you on the guilt thing too!!! I will post as often as I can~I will certainly check in tomorrow!
Have a great evening

I'm SO glad you're doing so well, Alesia!! Yay for you!!!!! And your food didn't look bad at all yesterday! It is hard to be at home w/everything at your beck and call all the time. I fight that constantly!!
I went to my doctor this morning for my yearly probing
and talked to her about my weight concerns and my depression (which, I have to admit, is very scale-oriented!!). She said to quit worrying about my weight - I'm maintaining around 155-157 (instead of 147-150 like I want) and to be happy! LOL She is switching my meds to one that'd better for menopause and fighting the hormone probs (from Prozac to Effexor). So hopefully that'll help and I'm vowing to be happy!!!!
B - 2 sf cinnamon rolls, banana
S - 1 pack pb on wheat crackers, AchievONE
L - 1/2 c strawberries, sf Jell-O cup, 1 pack O'Coco's, bowl of yummy sf pudding recipe I got from a friend (1/6 of the recipe), 7 lf cheese cubes, 1 sf Werthers, 1 sf Dove chocolate (geesh - looks like a ton written down!)
S - 3 parm. cheese wafers, AchievONE
D - the rest of my Lean Cuisine lasagne florentine, 3 oz salad w/lf TI dressing, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie
S - 4 Triscuits w/32 g squirt cheese
Plus I drank 64 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz decaf diet green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 16 oz sf hot cocoa w/ff RW and I treaded for 60 minutes.

Hugs,
Connie

Hi Connie,
Glad you got in to talk with the doc, hope this switch up in routine helps, just keep on workin' it until you find the right combo...As for the scale and how it affects your mood, you know you are not alone - many of us are obsessed with the scale, its numbers and GETTING to that magic number...You know if you can find a way to let go of focusing on those last few lbs, they may just disappear on their own, you ARE making good food choices - I used to work with 2 women who tried for years to get pregnant and just never could (no other issues, just didn't happen) finally they just decide to let it go and adopt, next thing you know they're pregnant now they've both got 2 beautiful children, both a blessing, isn't that wonderful and who is to say that it might not work like that for weight loss too - stranger things have happened and it certainly could be stress working against you to keep those last few from just slipping away... I guess I'm trying to encourage you to happy with ALL that you have accomplished, which is SIGNIFICANT and should make you PROUD...
I AM PROUD OF YOU !!! I think you are a good person, you certainly have given me some great emotional support...
Alesia
