Hi Everyone, Thank you so much everyone for keeping the engines running on this ship, I got lost out to sea couple of days, but I'm back on course...Friday we moved computers and rooms at my office, never saw the light of day, went right from there to the gym, then groceries, then home to bed, it was crazy...Yesterday, I helped a friend who is leaving an abusive relationship get her stuff out while he was out of town, then co-hosted a going away wine and appetizer party for one of my co-workers (hense fridays craziness), anyway it was another day of not recording food... I can truthfully say both days sucked!!! Friday did not eat or drink enough of ANYTHING, yesterday didn't eat or drin****il the party then snacked and wino'd thru about 4 hours, another wasted day... SO, no food to report in today, just wanted to get back to you all...Read everyone accountings this morning......I am back on course, my ship is sailing in the right direction and today is a new day... Hi Dede, Good idea as a way to keep track and make the posting faster...Looks like you did well with your numbers, I know you are still trying to lose a few more so I assume you are aiming to keep you cal count low, just remember not too low or you bod will just think you are starving it and shutdown on losing lbs to conserve... This ship was off course yesterday too.  :(  I had tyo throw away my first card in a long time. It started out with a fair.  Carnival food is evil.  I was still on course and only had some chicken on a stick (shared with Hubby - I pry ate 1/3 of it).  Then he got a seafood quesadilla and I snuck a few shrimp out of that.  Not too shabby right? I tried hard to stay on course the rest of the day. We went to the drive in movie (one of our fav Saturday night activities).  I packed sensible snacks for me.  "Junk" for everyone else.  Hubby and I fought.  DD was a NIGHTMARE.  I reached in the bag and preceeded to snack away on the junk.  My food coping issues are far from gone.  I fell asleep during the 2nd movie.  On the way home (at 2 AM :( ) hubby ran through the Steak & Shake drive thru.  I had a frisco melt.  And some fries.  *cries*  The worst part is that it tasted like crap and made me feel sick to my stomach.  I think because I've been doing so good for so long - my tummy was seriously confused why I put all the grease in there.  I was miserable until well after 3 in the morning.  Not only physically but mentally beating myself up. Really - if I was going to blow it I shoulda indulged at the fair.  YUMM!  LOL. Today is a new day.  We'll both be back on couse and making a good report tomorrow right?

 Hey MrsAmyB, Man I can so relate to the coping issues...I'm sorry you had a fight with the DH, boy that can really throw you off and make you feel like you've been kicked to the curb, then to ice it off you use food as an emotional crutch ( at least I know I do  )...You are right on it though, it only gets better with practice, today was better for me, I hope for you too, and then on to tomorrow...  Alesia

Hi all!! 2 c. coffee w/ff creamers I had several small meals at the pool that were breakfast and lunch on Sat so I'll just list: 6 oz. Boar's head chicken 3 slices 2% cheese mozzarella stick serving of Rosemary and olive oil triscuits veggies and lite ranch dip 1/4 c. Nectar protein drink Chips Ahoy 100 calorie cookie pack about 1/2 of it - I shared D-leftover cheese filled manicotti from restaurant friday nite, 1 1/2 meatballs S-1/2 c. sugar free pudding, whole package chips ahoy 100 cal cookies TOTAL:  1381   fat - 56   carbs - 100    protein - 125 Alot of calories but I did weights and cardio at the gym and played tennis that morning before migrating next door to the pool

Not a bad day at all Denise Cals don't look out of line for the daily totals and yes, you did a good workout and need the cals to keep it all balanced, even the cookies were well chosen by limiting yourself to the 100 cal packs ( boy what a marketing idea, huh?)... So, keep up the good work, and keep working out...You are doing just fine...Alesia

Glad to see you are bad.. started worring a bit.. sounds like you have been very busy. Today... it is so sad (not) all my kids are on their way to camp. Will be dropping 3 off with grandma to take to one camp and we are taking Bobby to his special needs camp for the week. A whole week with peace and quiet.. yeah...

So here was my day.. I know didnt eat enough.. went horseback riding and was pretty busy so i didnt eat enough and today may be a lot of the same.. Have a doc appointment tommorrow to try and get my medication back for my arthritsis. it's hurting pretty bad and I cant hold things really well right now.. so hopefully they will let me have it back so I can get back on track with my exercise.. just to hard to do much when I hurt so much.

B- Protein shake

S- protein bar

L- 3 oz of steak and 1/2 cup of beans.

D- salad with chicken and some cheese

S- ice cream and pretzels

totals... calories 1,100, carbs.... 106, fat.... 29, protein.... 107

Did good on drinking 100 + oz of fluids.. hot day on the trail...lol

Hey Carla, You made good choices today, even with the interruption of all the activities and daily living...Know you are going to enjoy the week away from the kids...Sorry to hear you are struggling with arthritis pain, that has got to be hard to deal with and make it hard to get a good workout too, maybe you should try water aerobics, its supposed to be less stressful on the joints and body, I personally love it...
