It does work!

Was definitely off track a while there and put about 8 lbs back on- which I could not afford.  So, I cut out all the crap I was eating (I was eating a lot of extra calories with small sugar items that I could keep popping in my mouth all day) and began power walking again.  Doing about 15 miles per week at this point.  Weighed myself this morning- 2 weeks later- and am down 6 lbs.  So, I am psyched!  One thing I was feeling bad about was my occassional iced coffee drink- even with non-fat milk I was a little paranoid about it- but I began bringing protein powder to the coffee shop and they have been adding it for me- so now at least I get like 23 grams of protein in the drink- and with the exercise I am doing- I think that I'll be able to get away with still having them.  They are a little indulgence for me- and I have been enjoying them so we'll see how that goes. Other positive changes- was drinking too much diet soda- that's been easy to give up.  Getting more water in and Cystal Light if I need something- and have stopped drinking during meals- so I know that I am back on track. Just wanted to share.....

Good for you . It sounds like you really have got a handle on it . I am struggling to gain weight back . I know it sounds like nothing to most . But I lost it after my PS ... and I wish I could get it back .  Anyhoo... I am sure you are going to reach your goals .. Just remember to keep it real and simple ..  Best wishes to you,  Natalie
