I just put my size 8 white summer pants in the back of my closet and said a prayer that I would be able to wear them next year. i struggle with regain.  So far it is only a few pounds, but it shows in my clothes.   Just wanted to 'share' this morning. Patricia

Hi Patricia. I so understand those feelings. Last summer was my first summer of being on "maintenance" and having to do that and I was scared to death! Thankfully when I opened up the box this summer everything still fit! Now that's not to say that I didn't have some flux over the months, but it was small and manageable so I dealt with it right away. My plan this year is to do my best to eat right and stay active, even though PA winters are long and hard and to keep my scale close by! Good Luck and I'm sure those summer pants will still fit in the spring!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement.  I have feeling I am going to need it.  Good luck to you, too.  Let's work hard all winter to be sure we do not 'outgrow our pants.'  LOL   I weigh every day and write it down.   Patricia 262/130 (well close) rny 3/2005

Dear Patricia, I can SO relate to you!  Even after 3 years at the beginning of every season I am shocked that I can still wear "last year's " clothes. I've NEVER been able to do that  except after I "gave up" losing weight and just stayed a size 30/32 for about 5 years.  I too am struggling with regain, although it is only about 7 lbs. and I am trying desperately to stay on top of it and not let it get out of hand!!  My clothes are still fitting, but maybe not as well as they once did. I REFUSE to let that happen!!! SO glad you shared with us. I am sure that you will find Loads of support here!!! Hugs,    Piggybabe

Thanks for the reply.  My regain is about the same as yours.  Funny how much difference that few pounds can make. Good luck to all who struggle..   Patricia

I am AMAZED that even 2-3 lbs. makes such a huge difference!  Before, It took about 40 lbs. before I even noticed, much less anyone else!!  Isn't that something?

It really is amazing. When I was MO, I didn't weight myself very often, so I had no clue if I was up 10lbs, down 5lbs, etc. My clothes were just big, expandable and they fit the best that they could. Now I prefer my clothes very fitted, so when I gain I can definitely tell by the way things fit.
