an OMG moment
It's past but I wanted to share this w/ you all. Last Oct I ran a 5K. My son Jason flew from Az to Mo to run it w/ me. shortly before the finish line I was plugging along when my other son ,Bob & his daughter, Sophia came out from the crowd. Sophia took my hand & her Daddy had her other hand. I saw the finish line & mouthed to Bon that I had to run on. I let go of her little hand & started running harder. I heard footsteps & turned & my little 4 yr old g-daughter was running as hard as she could to catch up to me. I took her little hand in mine & together we crossed that finish line. She said she pulled me across ) lol. It was a moment I'll never forget. I thank God for this surgery. It has given me a life. A life to share w/ my g-babies. And to share w/ anyone who will listen. Thanks you guys for all the support I've gotten from you .. xoxoxox Brenda
PS Jason & I both got a gold medal. Jason is very athletic ( he's doing a 1/2 triathalon next week) & he got 1st for his time. I got 1st because i was the only one in my age group. But you know what? I DID IT. and thats what counts
