Howdy gang, My 4 year surgiversary was 9/17/07 but I waited to write because I saw my doc yesterday and I only use his scale as my official weight.   4 years post op I am down 164 pounds and holding!!! I have never had a real gain, meaning my weight can flux 5 pounds on any given day but never stays up. I was "stuck" at 200 pounds for about a year but finally when I increased water & calories I was able to get under 200 pounds in June and have stayed under :-) 4 years ago I wore size 32 pants that I can now fit into one leg of. I have never regretted my decision to have WLS. I believe it works even for a self proclaimed cookie/cake addict.  I am so grateful for all the help and support I have gotten from this site over these years. I would like to especially lthank Tracy for all her inspiration and for letting me rant to her when I just couldnt voice it in the open forum...I wish I could give her a big hug!!!!! Good luck to all of us on our Journeys Diana RNY 9/17/03 360/196/forever aiming at 180

Diana,   Congrats, you are a real inspiration to me. I am tall too, six feet to be exact so I know what it is like to get over that huge hurdle of being in the one hundreds! I never thought I would be one hundred anything. To see how you have maintained for four years is encouraging. I am still struggling with those last fifteen pounds but I will get there! Thanks, Nicole

Congratulations!  You've done an awesome job.  My four year surgiversary is coming up in January.  It is so hard to believe it has already been that long.  I too am holding my weight off.  It fluctuates up and down about 5 or 6 pounds depending on the day and what time of the month it is.  And I am good with that.  And as you put it, good luck to all of us on our journeys.

Melissa

Hallelujah!! That is good news for you AND for us. Good for you because you are successful and healthy and good for us because we see that  it CAN be done.  Maintaining that much of a loss for that long a time is FAB!!!!!          Hugs,  Piggy
