Oh My, the nerve of some people! Well, I hope it gives you even more motivation to prove them wrong!

I guess I just bring out the worst in people...But yes, it has me more motivated to NOT let them to have the satisfaction of saying "See?"
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

OMG.....this SO hits home for me!!!!  I won't repeat what everyone is saying b/c my weighing ritual is obssessive too, but I will say that I have this thing that bothers me...I had gained several pounds and now have managed to lose them.  I am back at 149-151 everyday now, but when I first had my RNY 6 1/2 yrs. ago, I wore a 7/8 @ 150, and now I fit comfortably into my size 10s.  Don't get me wrong....a size 10 is GREAT, but it's just so weird how apparantly all this flab left on my body is shifting or something, and it scares me.  I just hate to be where I was perfectly happy before, and now I am dissappointed at that weight.  Does this make any sense?  Anyway, I have managed to drop those 13 pounds and am THRILLED about that, but now I would like to continue to lose about 5 more pounds, and it just ain't happening!!!  Oh well, thank goodness for friends like you guys who will always understand what it's like! Thanks lor listening!

I know what you mean about things shifting and changing with time. My mom was so surprised when I first lost my weight b/c my butt, legs and arms were much thinner than they were before when I was at the same weight (before I became mo). Now, in the last 6mths things have shifted a bit and I feel like I look heavier thru the upper arms and thighs. I also have a hard time maintaining at 150 and tend to bounce up a little higher. I am still fitting into the same size pants, but I wonder in time if that will always be the case. Regardless I know I look WAY better than I did at 328lbs, so I should quit being so critical of myself~much easier said than done!!!
