So here we are on hump day... Happy Halloween. So how did we do today.. did you sneak into the candy or did you make it through.

So I got a really cool.. not.. brace on my knee now but it's feeling better. Thats a good thing.

So i dont know if you all know this but I live in the Christmas Light district in Chino. That means we do the big christmas decorating thing each year. Well Halloween is also a biggy around here as tons of people bus.. yes bus in to get candy. This year I stoped counting at 2800 and my kids finished passing out candy for an hour after that. We do the decorating thing and everything. We actually had 5 ppl passing out candy at one time just to keep the lines moving. I am glad it's over now... at least til christmas..hehehe...

So I had a good day I think..
So here was my day....

Well, I got lucky and have to work swings so I don't have to deal with Halloween candy--but someone's wife sent cupcakes!  So I just ignored them! B:  Chocolate protein shake w/ skim milk, banana S:  None L: (After the gym)  Micellular Milk--ick what a weird aftertaste.  No more of that for me! S:  None D:  Salad w/swiss cheese, (lots of good veggies) and about 5 bites of chicken which I stripped all of the skin and bones out of. S:  1/4 cup of Trader Joe's Trail Mix with cashews, dried cranberries, and almonds one cookie (Chesapeake w/pecans & chocolate chips)  all my vitamins, supplements, and water.  (I have to drink constantly at work due to the fact that I'm moving around all the time, and my boss makes us drink because of the low humidity in our part of the world.) Home about an hour, snacked on a lot of the trail mix; gonna have to stop that! TTYL!

Lucky for you.. I enjoy watching the people come so it's not to bad being around for Halloween. It's good that your boss lets you drink like that. Many jobs wont let you take food or drink with you.

Havent tried taht protein drink yet. Kind of stick to what I know and like. I see you missed a few snacks yesterday and you didnt eat much of anything... mostly protein drinks. Try and get that up some.. you need the fuel to keep you body working. Not sure of the totals but I bet they are low.

Hey Carla, Does handing out all that candy make it easier to say no to dipping your own hand into the bowl?  I think I handled the day pretty well, considering all the Halloween temptation floating around, stress from my teenager getting into an accident @ school and being on the 1st day of Aunt Flo - seemed like the demons were out to get me yesterday ... B - 20 sf / ff latte S- sm apple with 2 tbsp pb      1 tootsie roll      1 " panuche fudge L - power crunch bar       lf mozzerella cheese stick       4 macadamia nuts ( boss just got back from Hawaii and brought presents) S - 3 sf pieces of candy D - 3 oz cheeseburger       1/2 cup greenbeans S - 1/2" pumpkin fudge        1 oz cashews        1 protein ball PLUS - 104 oz clear liquids Cals - 1665     Fat - 96     Carbs - 121     Protein - 93 Back on track today ...Welcome to November, less than 2 months until x-mas...Alesia

because sugar makes me dump it's not to hard to say no to candy. In the past I would have ate as much as I past out. yikes...

YOu had a good day and the choices were good. Little higher than normal for you but you can handle the increase once in a while. The fat guy seems to have gotten you a bit today but the rest is right on track.. Keep on sailing that ship and heading to that goal.

Oh I cheated totally...I had FOUR pieces of Sugar Free Russell Stovers Peanut Butter Cups...GAWD they were good. I just couldn't help myself.  Breakfast: Cream of Wheat, banana, 20 g protein and coffee Second Breakfast: The protein must have made this unnecessary. Snack? Cheese stick, dried banana chips, 2 sf pb cups Lunch: Boneless chicken breast and lima beans Snack: 2 sf pb cups, yogurt Dinner: (This was a BIG one) Buffalo Steak Burger with a slice of Swiss cheese...(51 grams of protein on that one...I sure didn't need the protein in the morning but who knew?) No bedtime snack either.. Totals: Calories: 1632 Fat:62 Carbs:155 Protein: 136
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Wow.. very nice protein day. I have noticed when I drink a protein drink I dont get hungry either. It helps me curb bad behaviors.

You had a great day. I like all the numbers on you day. Carbs not to high, protien up there and cals right in the middle range. Did a good job of it.

hi everyone, sorry it's been really hard to get on for the last 2 months, but here is my yesterday: b: 3 hard boiled eggs with a few pieces of fresh fruit l: 1/4 of a carne asada burrito and 1 dannon lite cherry yogurt s: 1/2 a cheese burger from mcdonalds shared with the baby when i got home from work s: 1 snack size twix (halloween candy, couldn't resist) lol d: wendy's chili with cheese and onions

I did ok yesterday. Could have done better: Breakfast: Oatmeal Snack: S/F whole wheat banana bread and a TBSP natural PB Lunch 1/2 whole wheat wrap with chicken, ham and swiss Snack: 8 whole wheat pita chip[s and 2 low fat cheese slices Snack: 2 chicken wings, 2 tostido bites and a slice of cheese. (office party) Dinner: 1/2 of 1/2 the wrap from lunch Lots of water!
