3 year postop 11-5-07

omg im gonna be 3 years out monday i would love to have loose skin removed but need hel[p in persueing it any ideas would be great [email protected]

  Congradulations Tammy. I am 35 months post op WLS and 14 months post op PS. I had a BR; BL; ventral hernia repair; TT; and panni removal last Sept 06. My PS coordinated my PS with my WLS surgeon and had all that done at one time. The PS removed 12 lbs of skin and I lost an additional 25 lbs during the last year for a total of 37 lbs gone. I knew my PS and his assistant and began looking into the surgery when I was 18 months out. Speak with your WLS surgeon about who he/she would suggest for PS. The surgery was much less painful than I expected and the recovery went very well. I am thrilled with my results. Good luck hunting. I had many rashes and ulcers under my breasts and panni. Lots of back, neck, shoulder, and arm pain. All that is gone with the skin removed. If you have similiar problems make sure you take pictures and document the problems with you PCP or surgeon. Insurance covered everything.

Congratulations! I'm coming up on 3yrs too~its very exciting!!!! I know what you mean about the loose skin~I've decided to live with it for right now I guess.
